Recommendation / Restriction
- "To provide correct protection, a lightning arrester is recommended:
- at the origin of each installation (mandatory depending on the type and location of the installation to be protected,
- at the origin of divisional switchboards: secondary protection or fine protection of sensitive equipment,
- on all outputs of external electrical circuits (supply to secondary buildings, external lighting or external electrical panels, etc.).
A communication network arrester should always be installed to protect communication equipment in the presence of a lightning arrester on the low-voltage network."
